Mr. Jeffrey R. Witsken is assigned as the Chief, Network Integration Branch, Mission Command Center of Excellence since June 20, 2011.
In this capacity, he coordinates, synchronizes, and integrates force modernization activities pertaining to the ‘science’ aspects of Mission Command and its associated warfighting function. This includes integrating doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership, personnel, and facilities (DOTMLPF) for the operations process, information management, knowledge management, cyber electromagnetic activities, and inform & influence activities, as well as mission command networks and systems.
Specific to the Network, his organization develops integrated Network requirements that are standards - based and informed and refined by the Agile Process, testing, and operational insights . This includes identifying network operational capability gaps, synchronized across all COE, for capability package and set development. This work is synchronized across Centers of Excellence and affiliated stakeholders. This branch also provides critical liaison between CAC, ARCYBER, and the Brigade Modernization Command (BMC). Additionally, Network Integration Branch provides a “think tank” regarding the future of the science aspects of mission command, to include the network, how we fight the network, etc.
